Red Wine Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
- 2/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp of fresh ground pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 3-4 cloves fresh garlic
Combine all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet and blend until smooth. Store in the fridge. This dressing never lasts long in my house!
The Italian Winter Salad that my Mom makes has layers of cauliflower, sugar snap peas, carrots topped with black olives and sliced red onions. Serve warm with vinaigrette poured over the top.
